5th Reflection

While working with the program Alice this week, we had to learn how to create and use new methods, functions and parameters. There were some labs that were pretty easy to complete, but there were also some that were very confusing and difficult. Looking at the lab goal and directions for reference just confused me even more and after looking at the code for a while, it seemed to me that some of the variables, methods, and functions were unnecessary. It seems like the purpose of these things are to have the majority of the code in a different area, but still do the same thing. I don't know if there is a specific use for doing it, but it makes the code a lot more confusing. I think it would be helpful to know what the advantage of creating new functions and methods are because right now they can be very confusing.
