6th Reflection

This week, although I was only in class for a day (because of a field trip), I really enjoyed the labs we had in Alice. We made new events that could let you control an object inside the world and also make other objects react to that. You could do the same thing in Scratch, but because Alice is three dimensional, there is a lot more actions you can do that look more realistic. For example, one of the labs required us to make a mouse move if you pressed the arrow keys. Once the rat moved the other object in the world, a cat, was supposed to follow it. The end result of the lab was a cat chasing a mouse around the world, but never catching it. This part of Alice made things a lot more fun and interesting, while maintaining simplicity in the code.
